My name is Alex Ludden. I live In New Hudson, Michigan where I attend high school at South Lyon East.  I have wanted to be involved with living off the land in someway or another for most of my life. Whether it is just living in a rural area, or living isolated in the mountains this is my dream.  I gained this enjoyment and want from my father and grandfather. They were avidly involved with doing outdoor activities. They are the ones that introduced me to the great world of the outdoors.  The farming aspect I received from being around dairy cows and corn fields my whole life. I have many relatives involved in different types of farming. I also have a pretty large interest in history, which plays into this. In the sense people have always had an inner want to expand and discover, but to also live in peace and happiness
